June 28. Tonight, I’ll be reading excerpts from  StealingRenoir and discussing some of the research and inspiration that made the novel possible at the Ohio County Public Library, 413 S Main Street, Hartford, KY., from 5:30 to 7p. Free!

 Globos in Argentina and Luminarias in New Mexico. Both of these Christmas traditions involve lighting candles so the Christ child can find its way. 

Stealing Picasso is coming out this fall, and the opening scene takes place on Christmas Eve. Globos are an important part of the parade and the theft!

Checking in from the Art Institute of Chicago. I’m not sure it’s possible to have a “favorite” museum, but this is certainly in the top ten. I’m researching “Stealing Van Gogh,” while doing the final edit on “Stealing Picasso.” I will be admiring the original paintings today. I can’t wait.
